Information about USP company in Bulgaria:

The Bulgarian trade representative office was established in 2007 in Sofia and since that time  USP Bulgaria is continuously growing. Achieving position 148 within the OTC companies in 2008, the Bulgarian branch of USP went up to No 46 in 2009*.
 
Ibuprom, Gripex and Verdin are the flagship brands of USP Bulgaria, delivering 73% of the total turnover. They are actively supported by trade activities as well as by TV campaigns.

Milestones of USP development in Bulgaria:

2004  First shipments of Ibuprom (analgesic remedy) and Gripex (cold&flu remedy) via pharmaceutical distributor
2007  USP representative office was founded
2008  Local business set-up:
- The first TV commercial for Ibuprom was launched,
- USP introduced new brands on the market: Verdin (hepatic remedy), Stoperan (anty- diarrhea remedy) , Herbitussin (throat preparation),
- USP established its own Sales Force Department .
2009  USP improved its market position and moved from 148th up to 48th place out of 467 companies on Bulgarian OTC market.
The new products were launched on the market: Vigor (vitamins) and Gripex Hot Active (cold&flu hot rems) USP strongly support its corn brands in TV (Ibuporm, Gripex and Verdin) USP managed to change the RX status of Gripex tablets and Ibuprom Max to OTC, henceforth these medicines are available without a prescription.
