As a company, USP is committed to making every effort to ensure free access to our content for all people, including those with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments.

GUIDELINES
We have adopted the accessibility guidelines set forth in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative. Some of these are outlined below:
- maintaining a standard layout of sites and simple navigation structure
- making use of headings, paragraphs and other HTML coding elements
- alternative content for graphic and multimedia files for the visually impaired
- the ability to increase text size to improve readability for people with visual impairments
- the ability to change the contrast to improve readability for people with visual impairments
- compatability with the latest web browsers from different software developers
- width and height of pages in line with common computer monitor sizes and resolutions
- support for keyboard navigation
KEYBOARD NAVIGATION
Content on the USP.pl web-site can be accessed through the use of keyboard navigation. We have prepared the following keyboard shortcuts:
- access key + S = go to the content
- access key + 1 = return to the home page
- access key + 2 = go to the ‘News’ page
- access key + 3 = go to the Site map
- access key + 4 = access the site search
- access key + 8 = go to the ‘Legal notice’ page
- access key + 9 = go to the ‘Contact us’ page
- access key + 0 = go to the ‘Accessibility Guidelines’ page
HOW TO USE ACCESS KEYS IN YOUR BROWSER?
- Internet Explorer—hold down the ALT key, press the number of the access key, release both keys then press ENTER.
- Chrome (PC)—hold down the ALT key and press the number of the access key
- Firefox (PC)—hold down the ALT and SHIFT keys, and press the number of the access key
- Firefox, Safari (Mac)—hold down the CTRL key and press the number of the access key
- Opera—hold down the Shift key and press ESC, release both keys, then press the number of the access key
- Chrome (Mac)—hold down the CTRL or ALT key, and press the number of the access key
